Waverley College, NSW
Since 2016, Waverley College has been travelling to Timor-Leste with a connection to community groups in Railaco, Ermera. We started working with Waverley in 2018, 2019, and 2023 to facilitate their program which includes a 3 homestay experience in a rural village. Sunshine Coast Grammar, QLD
Sunshine Coast Grammar has been travelling to Timor-Leste with a connection to Maliana for a number of years. In 2023, they reached out to our team to help support and facilitate their program. Watch this great video made by a student from the 2023 trip.
St Joseph's College, East Gosford
In 2019, we worked with Mary MacKillop Today and St Joey's to facilitate an immersion project. The program included the students visiting MMT projects and learning first hand about the great work MMT are doing in Timor-Leste.
SEDA College, NT
In 2023, SEDA College travelled to Timor-Leste for the first immersion trip. Together we spent the week visiting local community groups and learning about Timor-Leste's history and culture..
University Programs
Sustainable Energy, University of QLD
In 2023 we designed a study tour that investigated Timor-Leste's rapid roll-out of government electrification in recent years, which has had minimum impact in the agriculture-based livelihoods of people in rural areas. The students met with government representatives and NGOs, local villages and other stakeholders. Read more about this trip in an article written by a student for PV Magazine.
Engineers Without Borders
In 2018 and 2019 we worked with EWB to provide a homestay experience for their student. We are the Design Summit partner organisation for EWB's Timor-Leste program.
Australian Catholic University
Since 2017 we have partnered with Reho Study Tours to manage the travel logistics of over 15 ACU groups to Timor-Leste. We provide in-country support to group leaders and manage accommodation, transport, and tour activities.
Tourism Development
Intrepid Travel Journalist Tour
We are the in-country partners for Intrepid Travel's Timor-Leste Expedition. In 2023, in partnership with Intrepid Travel and Market Development Faclility we hosted 6 Australian journalists to travel throughout Timor-Leste as part of a destination marketing campaign to promote tourism in Timor-Leste. Rebooting Safe Tourism in Timor-Leste
In 2021, in partnership with USAIDs Tourism For All Project, we designed and implimented a tourism development grant focusing on upskilling tourism workers in safety management skills. You can read more about this project on this blog post.
Domestic Tourism Exchange
In 2022, in partnership with USAIDs Tourism For All Project, we designed and implimented a tourism development grant which aimed to improve collaboration between two tourism associations. Tourism workers participated in each others tourism experiences and evalucated services and experiences offered.

TravelManagers Famil Tour
In 2022, we worked with TravelManagers and Market Development Facility to provide a 1 week tour for 8 Australian travel agents. The purpose of the trip was to showcase Timor-Leste's tourism experiences and services to help with future destination marketing.
